After another full on summer season! its now already the start of Autumn, we’ve now packed away our little bigtop for the winter period. We are still available to book for schools & christmas events & we can perform our circus in school/sports halls & venues. We are now taking enquires for summer 2019! contact us for info & prices!
This summer was our busiest so far! we visited almost 20 locations with our little circus = big fun! Here are some of our highlights….
We started our 6th tour in Zaz’s hometown of Bognor Regis for a massive circus workshop whilst the royal wedding was shown on a big screen in Hotham park. Then we head further north to a school in Newark who first contacted us 4 years ago! so great to make it happen at last! all the children came to see the circus show as treat to celebrate their schools birthday. In Essex we visited Quilters junior school after setting up the bigtop on a Sunday afternoon with the pta we stayed pitched on their school field for the whole week! The head teacher was very enthusiastic & we taught the children their own show which they then preformed after school for the parents followed by our show with popcorn of course! With school summer fete season in full swing we visited many schools across the south & again have received lots of positive feedback from schools saying how they loved our shows & what a great way to fundraise for their school circus pazaz was! In August we were invited back for the 4th time! to perform & celebrate the 70th Alderney week festival, a great working holiday & amazing chance to visit the tiny channel Island of Alderney. Then in Cornwall we were back for the 2nd year for showtime at the Cornish maize maze a wonderful little farm & family attraction. So good! that this year Zaz’s kids Zac & Olly came a day early to see the maze & help with the shows before heading back to Sussex for Bank Holiday weekend & Worthing Carnival. On day 1 sadly the weather & wind wasn’t friendly & despite a few kids coming for the workshops in the morning the event had to closed late afternoon. Next day the sun was back out & so were the people of Worthing! After the carnival when it was show time we had to completely open the side walls to allow people watch from outside the tent too, this must have been our busiest show ever! Then in September the new school year began & we put up the tent for a few more school events & end of summer fairs locally in Sussex before rolling up the tent for the last pack away of this season…..2018 was 250th year of Circus as we know it – the circus comes in many shapes & sizes, as one of the smallest circuses in the UK we consider ourselves lucky & take pride in the work we do, both in preparation & presenting our little circus experience & look forward to more circus fun in 2019!
